Prepare for this new era of advocacy with a new year of programming from the Advocacy Leaders Network!
As we enter the sixth year(!) of Advocacy Leaders Network programming, we want to thank our community for their continued participation in our high-level advocacy training, professional development, and networking programs.
Don’t know what all the fuss is about? Here are a few words from our regular attendees:
“It’s more important than ever for advocacy professionals to keep up with the latest trends and ensure they’re doing everything they can to meet people where they are. The Advocacy Leaders Network is an incredibly valuable resource to hear from thought leaders as well as my peers about how they’re overcoming challenges and getting results.” – Matt Fitting, American Heart Association
“ALN has been outstanding for my organization and career. The subjects they focus on has allowed my organization to increase its influence. My favorite part of the events is collaborating with the many professionals in the advocacy networks.” – Jordan Craig, American Farm Bureau Federation
The series of three half-day workshops is tailored to senior advocacy, government affairs, and public relations professionals. Topics include:
- March 24, 2017 – Modern Congress: Modern Advocacy
- May 12, 2017 – Advocacy on the Cheap: Changing the World on Any Budget
- November 17, 2017 – Writing Messages That Matter
As you know, citizens often turn to advocacy organizations to act as their conduits to Congress and for guidance on how to communicate to their elected officials. CMF is hosting this series to improve the ability of advocacy groups and advocacy campaigns to educate their networks so that supporters and Congress will have a greater understanding and improved relationship.
