Advocacy on the Cheap: Changing the World on Any Budget

You can’t always get what you want… But if you try sometimes well you just might find… You get what you need. Sometimes you have to pare down and compromise in order to get things done on a limited budget – or just get creative!

This event will represent the more ‘DIY’ approach to advocacy. While smaller budgets often necessitate a larger time investment, the best practices and tips from our panel of experienced DIY-ers will help you maximize your man-hours. And it turns out, some issues and communities do better with this more hands-on, authentic, grassroots-oriented approach than a flashy, all-encompassing, Madison Avenue-style campaign.
