The ‘Advocacy Leaders Network’ is a workshop series to assist grassroots and government relations professionals in research, strategies, and practices with the goal of enhancing relationships, communications, and understanding between citizens and Congress. This goal is achieved by providing advanced advocacy education through professional development and networking opportunities for the public affairs community. The series is hosted by the Congressional Management Foundation (CMF) and produced by Beekeeper Group.
The annual series of four half-day workshops is designed to enhance professional advocates understanding of legislative and executive branch operations and decision-making.
Presenters are drawn from congressional staff, professional advocacy leaders, non-profit professionals, new media and technology specialists, public relations consultants, academics, and policy makers.
The events are hosted at the offices of Beekeeper Group in downtown Washington, DC.
The Congressional Management Foundation is a nonprofit organization, building trust and effectiveness in Congress for 35 years. This series is part of CMF’s Partnership for a More Perfect Union which seeks to enhance communications, understanding, and the relationship between citizens and Congress. Beekeeper Group, a DC based public affairs firm, assists clients to cultivate and grow their hive of supporters.
